The Weaver is a good friendly pub selling good real ale in good surroundings. The people are friendly. I've certainly had no bother from anyone whenever I've been. Mind you, I'm a Scouser and not some wannabe plastic scouser who wasn't born in Liverpool or has lived here such as you get in Brookvale/Palacefields etc. These chavs think they have a point to prove. They don't! We all know they're idiots! Take it from me The Weaver is the best pub in these parts.

Love it xx
This has by far got to be the best pub in Runcorn.
I have worked and lived there for many years. Most of the customers are still the originals from years ago, and its great to chat and hear from them all of its history.
A hard pub to beat !!!

great pub
As you can see I'm not hiding behind a screen name either. The Weaver is a great pub with a great atmosphere. There is always a warm welcome for everyone. As for the comments about Joan, which I find digusting that someone can stoop so low to be personal. Joan has always had time for me and she has got a heart of gold.As for saying do not eat there, how childish can you get, the food is fine ( especially barny's omellettes), And last but not least Jill & Barny and genuine people ( pity not everyone was like them). They always have shoulder to cry on if you need one or time to share a laugh. What more can I say only GREAT PUB JILL & BARNY

Moaning Bastards!
Crackin pub with great atmosphere. Always guaranteed a warm welcome. Looking forward to the refurb. People wont be taking the piss then (we are brave enough to write our names and not hide behind a screen name, you are rating the pub not the staff, no need to get personal). Get a life, this pub is the best in Runcorn, not full of chav's and moaning bastards. The Weaver is keeping it real, good music, cheap beer and friendly staff.

well i totally disagree i have been in there a few times and thought the ale was fine, takes a bit of getting used to, but its cheap, and has a nice atmosphere unlike other places, also 'don't but the food in there, mine was fine thanks, and i think good service from all the staff, pleasent owner, and i like the way they have that festival on every westonbury i think, went this year top!! **** i think people need ti wipe the s***t out there eyes!
