Old Spotted Cow, Swindon

The food and atmosphere at the Old Spotted Cow are great, and I look forward to going there every time my husband and I visit England. To my mind, its easily the best pub in the area.

I truly cannot understand these prior comments as my wife and I eat in the Spotted Cow every week and cannot rate it highly enough. The new chef cooks beautiful diverse food, great portions and the staff and owner are very friendly and always make everyone feel right at home. The pub is always frequented by regulars which speaks volumes. The fact that these prior comments also name another local pub sounds like sour grapes or something more sinister. A fantasic pub that has cjhanged the village.

We have eaten at this pub a few times now and can't rate it highly enough - the food is excellent and the staff very welcoming. My husband said he had the best fish and chips he'd ever had!
