What a warm and welcoming pub. Once I arrived I was greeted by a barman, that welcomed me with cheery hello. It really made me feel like I was in a scene from the sitcom cheers. A place you can go and no strangers can be found. I found a good selection of both, bottle and cask beverages. I also sampled some of the food, from a wide selection catering for every taste. I found this to be reasonly priced. I was at the pub with a group of mates in a vault that contain pool, darts and sky TV which was great for a night with the lads. I did however noticed that there was lounge that would be ideal for family meals or function's. All in all a really friendly pub.

Entering the tom finney as regular diners we ordered the usual 2 chicken breast burgers, however when I came to pay I was charged extra for chips twice then told by the manager they didnt come with the meal! after asking the chef he apologised that they did come with chips and refunded the extra money. However after looking at the menu we spotted the burger was 2 for 10 we were charged both at regular price! we decided to leave it and not complain again! after eating half the burger I then realised the chicken breast was raw in the middle! I can only assume no food standard checks were taken before serving!! I then told the manager and nothing but i casual 'oh sorry ill let the chef know' was offered. safe to say I wont be returning!
