Ms A Cheese
expensive but well presented and cooked
Rather complicated dishes for a saturday lunctime but tasty and well presented. Starters very good (but not large) and could be shared with the help of a knife ! Scallops and fish dishes were good but sausages were average - one would pay half the price for 'pub sausages'. Main course portions very fair but paying extra for vegetables hurt the senses and the wallet.
No kids meals or concession for their tastes is also a little mean.
Deserts were v. good - especially sticky toffee pudding.
£140 for 6, sharing starters and puddings, one bottle of wine
