Titel says it all. The daft bint who clearly made up two separate names to post on the same day, obviously has an issue with one of the barmaids. I have been there twice and the place is awesome. Bar staff are good, good environment, a proper pub. Not a bar, bar/club, pub/club which the city centre lacks. (I'm only 22 and I say that!) All in all, an awesome place. Definately going back again :)

good value
good place in north/west edinburgh - still doing offers on food and drink, so cheap. huge beer garden is spot on - when it's sunny!! really good place for live football and always have live entertainment on so there's normally something to do.

the queen
I would just like to say that i think ye old inn is a good wee local pub and its not often you dont see someone you know.
Most of the staff in there are great, like Gary, Jenny and Bill are brilliant, they take time to have a chat and a banter with you. there is one memberof the staff who's name i do not not and dont care to find out, but she is an utter witch! she has the biggest attitude problem ever. i have worked face to face with the public myself and if i spoke to customers the way she speaks to the cutomers of the Ye Old Inn i would have got sacked, its like she's pissed off just being there, well if thats the case leave and get a job where you dont have to deal with people.
In recent weeks she has claimed i am barred for doing something i would never do, i spend most Sundays having lunch and a frothing ale in the pub and now am unwelcome.
I feel this should be addressed as it is turmning into an 'old mans' pub and is losing all its young custom due to them all getting barred from the same woman, for no apparent reason!

Not Happy with Service
I recently went to the ye olde inn, to enjoy a drink, and had a really bad experience with one of the staff.

I have known the bar maid from another pub and she has always been particularly rude with myself, for reasons unknown to me.

This visit was particualrly o.t.t. She was extremely rude and made up a random excuse that I was barred. She made a scene in front of my friends and other customers, we were made to feel unwelcomely embarrassed.

This woman has no customer service skills, and I would advise against visiting this establishment.

Although giving other comments their due this pub used to be a friendly place to drink...shame on them. With the exception of this member of staff, the ye olde inn, is a cosy, cheery place to drink.

If your face doesn't fit....don't bother...

A great little place...
This pub has a great atmosphere, for people young and old. If your looking for a quiet drink then the lounge is perfect. Or if your old with the lads before hitting the town this place also has it all to offer. I go there myself regulary with my friends (I'm only 18) - and we always have a great time, with the young barstaff and friendly regulars. Dont get the wrong idea - its not a party pub, its for everyone!

Good local pub with pub food
Local pub comprising Bar, Lounge and conservatory. Food good by pub standards, choices of wines and beers with real ales and 'bright' beer. Busy Bar with TV's in every corner and a well used dart board.
Lounge non-smoking up to 9pm.
