the sugarloaf is now amazing! cheaps drinks! good music! freindly staff and great atmosphere!! the pubs under new managment and its had a great effect on the pub. make a dbl for an extra pound! £6 for a bottle of wine and its like £1 a drink on sunday nights!! major improvment!! id recommend the food anyday too.

This has to be the best place to be in the town on a Friday & Saturday night... if you are after a fight, drugs, an empty wallet, 25 min wait to get a drink and last but not least to bump into most of the studients who attend your Maths lesson! Love the decor though. Such a shame, because its got so much to offer but to the wrong clientel.

the Loaf in my view is well over rated..... After waiting up to 20 mins to be served you come away with the feeling that you have been mugged as the price of the drinks are extortionate......my opinion is Use ya loaf and stay away they will have to drop their prices in the end!

Nice pub layout , generally for younger people inc students but way way way overpriced.

£2.70 for a pint of JSmiths !!
£5.50 double JD coke

This place is taking the pi**, the only good side is you can buy 2 decent cocktails for a fiver.

Afraid it gets a 2 for the prices
