After studying English at Dundee University, he returned again to Edinburgh in 1998, where he now lives with his wife, brother-in-law and three cats. Edinburgh: The Capital Guide
Edinburgh: The Capital Guide is not your usual guidebook. There are all manner of books that will give you a purely factual, or even advertorial view of the city. This is more like having a good friend, who knows the city well and is more than happy to take you around, show you the sights and give you the inside stories on places all around town. Written by Justin Anderson, an Edinburgh native, it not only has a chatty style that makes the read itself enjoyable, but is also full of personal anecdotes and asides. Of course, it still gives the information you need and with over 100 each of shops and restaurants and just under that number of pubs to choose from, you'll have more than enough of a flavour of Edinburgh to ensure an enjoyable time in the Capital.
